KINDERAI / MERCHANT GUIDES

Prepare useful store FAQs for your AI assistant

By KinderAI · 13 October 2026 · All guides

An assistant needs clear store information before it can give useful answers. Start with the questions your shoppers already ask. You do not need a large knowledge base to make the first few answers more reliable.

Choose ten real questions

Review recent support questions with personal information removed. Group repeated questions rather than copying every message. Shipping costs, delivery estimates, return conditions, product care and sizing are useful starting points, but your own shoppers should determine the list.

Keep the conditions in the answer

Write the answer as a shopper would use it. Include the destination, order threshold, exclusions or time window that changes the outcome. Check it against the published store policy before saving.

A fictional example

Question: Do you offer free shipping?

Incomplete: Yes, we offer free shipping.

More useful: Standard shipping is free for domestic orders over $60 after discounts. Express and international shipping are charged separately at checkout.

This example is not KinderAI’s shipping policy or a policy to copy into your store. Use your own actual conditions.

Separate facts from promises

A delivery estimate is not a delivery guarantee. An item described as cotton does not automatically have a particular washing instruction. If a detail is unavailable, provide an honest next step instead of asking the assistant to guess.

Use one authoritative answer

Check whether the product page, shipping page and saved FAQ disagree. Resolve the source information first. Keep a short record of who owns each answer and when it was last checked, especially before seasonal promotions or a returns-policy change.

Save and test in KinderAI

Open FAQs in KinderAI, add the questions and answers available within your plan, and save. Ask the exact question on your store preview, then ask it in a different way. Compare both replies with your approved answer. If the result is wrong, review the saved information and contact support with a redacted example.

Review the gaps shoppers reveal

A repeated question can mean the answer is missing, hard to find or ambiguous. Improve the relevant product or policy page as well as the assistant’s information. Review changes before using them; do not assume conversation history automatically updates store knowledge.

Next step: use the seven-check evaluation guide and the KinderAI setup instructions. See current plan limits before adding a larger FAQ collection.
